In his talk, Jarrett will review the tools and technology being developed today that may have a big impact on the future of genealogy and genetic genealogy -- including AI, Facial Recognition Software, low SNP artifact testing, and much more.

Jarrett Ross -- a.k.a. the GeneaVlogger -- has connected with thousands of relatives all over the world and helped build hundreds of trees for people of varying ancestral backgrounds. His specialties include genetic genealogy and Sephardic Jewish research, with an emphasis on Amsterdam's Portuguese-Jewish community. Among his other special interests are southern New Jersey's Jewish agricultural societies and Jews in the Pale of Settlement and Ukraine. Jarrett spent almost five years working as the Lead Forensic Genealogist at DNA Labs International, helping create investigative leads to identify unknown human remains and perpetrators of violent crimes.
