Wednesday June 25, 2025

Steve Morse has provided a plethora of tools on his web site to help genealogists more easily access the data on other web sites, including the Ellis Island web site, New York City vital records indexes, and the US Federal Census ED finder. Banai will discuss these and other tools on his site, which ones she uses the most and why.

Banai Lynn Feldstein has been a professional genealogist for over 20 years, specializing in Jewish and Eastern European research. She has volunteered with the Utah Jewish Genealogical Society (UJGS) as an officer in various positions since 2006 and has volunteered with IAJGS and IAJGS Conferences from 2005 to 2019, participating as a speaker most years since 2007. Banai is also a web site developer, serves as webmaster for both UJGS and the Israel Genealogy Research Association (IGRA), and is the creator of CSI: Crowd Sourced Indexing, a free platform for organizations to use to more easily index genealogy records; and GeneaSearch, and genealogy search engine.
