Speakers Bureau

Speaker Outreach Program

Looking for an interesting program for your synagogue or community group?

The JGSLI will be happy to provide a speaker to interested groups. In the past, our speakers have given presentations to Men’s and Women’s Clubs, Continuing Education programs and other community groups. Our speakers are all experienced presenters who use their own personal genealogical research as examples. The combination of practical experience and technical ability will help novice genealogists embark on their own research plans.

The presentations generally run 60-90 minutes in length and have received very good reviews.

Some of the topics that will be covered include:
• Vital Records
• Census Reports
• Naturalization Documents
• Passenger Manifests
• Naming Practices
• Internet Based Resources
• Holocaust Research

If you are interested in further information and suggested honoraria, please send an email directly to speaker@jgsli.org.
